Project Role:
The Senior Messaging and Collaborations Administrator is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, daily operation, and maintenance of all Windows server hardware and software and related to the enterprise messaging and collaboration infrastructure.
This individual participates in technical research, development and testing to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational standards. This job also operates as a subject matter expert and may be the escalation point for issue resolution and customer escalations. The resource will be primarily focused on MS Windows Server, Exchange and SharePoint services and may also include mobile messaging and MDM infrastructure and services.
Monitor enterprise messaging environment for anomalies and errors, reporting and escalation of issues.
Coordinates all maintenance activities including testing and scheduling for maintenance periods in regards to MS Exchange, SharePoint and other messaging systems.
Provide the required daily support, maintenance, and management of the platforms.
Provide Level III support and repair, as well as escalation to the IT Development and Executive Management Team.
Develops mitigation strategies when vulnerabilities cannot be remediated.
Develops and submits change requests and tracks to completion for software upgrades and patches.
Develops technical architecture documentation that details procedures for installation, maintenance, security, configuration, and disaster recovery/ business continuity.
Recommends enterprise upgrades, changes, and/or enhancements
Develop and maintain high standards in establishing procedures and policies to address routine jobs and certain resolution protocols. Meet or exceed SLA obligations consistently and on an ongoing basis, allow for accurate metrics to measure response time, meet BCP requirements for offsite access, and reduce the time needed to address hardware/software failures.
Provide 24x7 On-call Escalation Support (rotation-based).
Qualifications

Skills Required:

6+ years experience administering Microsoft Windows Server and Exchange environments including Active Sync, clustering, Group Policies, Active Directory, monitoring, backup and recovery, advanced configuration, anti-virus and anti-malware software, email gateways, SAN storage and network routing.
5+ years experience with server monitoring tools
· Healthcare experience - needs experience dealing with PHI/HIPPA/FDA regulations
· Exchange 2010 experience.
· SharePoint 2010 admin experience

Additional Preferred Skill Requirements:
1. CCEA
2. MCSE/ Messaging certification
3. 2+ years VMWare-ESX operational experience
4.Experience in healthcare information technology
5.Cisco UCS Server platform experience a plus
