Position Role/Tile: Business Analyst
Location: Albany, NY .
The Business Analyst/Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for supporting the team in defining functional, non-functional and technical specifications to meet business needs for the project; creating, reviewing, and maintaining artifacts; and working across the project teams to ensure organizational standards are met across the enterprise. Duties include, but are not limited to: Liaising with stakeholders to define functional, non-functional and technical specifications and resolve issues before implementation; work directly with and serve as the liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams; Gather, synthesize, and document business requirements; Collect, document, map, and analyze business process and system dependencies; Review vendor developed deliverables (e.g., requirements traceability matrices, functional design documents) and provide feedback to approvers; Assist in quality assurance and support testing of new functionality; and other duties as assigned.
84 Months experience managing small to medium-scale business analysis work or projects with distinct deliverables to a solution; Candidate is able to work without assistance and can provide leadership for others; may have advanced education.
84 months of experience in business analysis conducting business requirements elicitation, validation, and analysis with multi-entity project teams in the planning and successful implementation of multi-million-dollar, complex technology projects.
Bachelor’s degree with coursework in Information Technology, Business Analysis, and/or Communications.
84 months of experience in quality assurance in developing test strategies and test plans, including, but not limited to, functional testing, user acceptance testing, and regression testing
36 months of experience developing best practices, document/artifact standards, deployment, and oversight of business analysis and quality assurance functions in a large (10,000=employee) public or private entity.
24 months experience with technology delivery and/or capabilities for human/social services applicants and recipients.
24 months of experience with projects directly supporting Temporary Assistance (TA), Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Medical Assistance (MA) and/or Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP).
