Project Manager

Position Role/Tile: Project Manager
Location:  Cary, NC.​                                                                                                                                         
                                                                    

 Required skills:

  1. Proficient in MS Office suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio; understanding of analytical tool stack, Jira, SharePoint, bitbucket and clarity is a plus
  2. PMP/Prince2, Scrum / Agile, SAFe project management certification is preferable
  3. SCOPE MANAGEMENT
  • Collate all the information required to begin a project and any features this project requires meeting stakeholder requirements.
  • Manage strict deadlines and resource allowances, and manage scope creep.
  1. TIME MANAGEMENT
  • Develop project timeline, project milestones and the structure schedules and activities.
  1. COST MANAGEMENT
  • Manage project cost by estimating, budgeting, funding, managing and controlling costs so that they remain within the pre-approved project budget.
  1. QUALITY MANAGEMENT
  • Make sure project meets Client Data Analytics quality policy, implemented with best practices and it meets original needs and specifications of business.
  1. RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
  • Work with Delivery lead to estimate the resource needs, manage the current resource allocation, inform management about extensions/releasing.
  1. COMMUNICATIONS MANAGEMENT
  • Conduct project/phase kick-off meetings to communicate individual roles and project expectations and ensure that all project team members have the tools and training required to perform effectively.
  • Build communication plan to make correct people must receive the right information at the appropriate time.
  1. RISK MANAGEMENT
  • Identify, plan for, analyze, respond, and control any risks, issues that might dangerously affect a project and put the project team or end users at risk.
  • Maintain project action log to monitor open actions and potential risks from open actions.
  1. PROCUREMENT MANAGEMENT
  • Work with financial lead, business partners on project procurement needs, purchasing or acquiring materials, services or results required from an outside source.
  • Work with Legal and IT Risk, TSC and other internal Client teams to successfully onboard vendors identified for the project.
  1. STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
  • Identification of participants – groups, people, organizations - involved and affected by a project.
  • Analyzing stakeholder expectations and the impact these might have on the project, and engaging and communicating with stakeholders in decisions and the execution of tasks.
  1. BENEFITS MANAGEMENT
  • In addition to define purpose, clear roles, tasks, milestones, budgets also measure how the benefits are derived and when they will be realized working with business.
