Title: Cybersecurity Solutions Architect – AI (Insurance Industry)

Duration: Long-Term Contract
Position Overview
As a Cybersecurity Solutions Architect, you will design and govern the security posture of AI-driven platforms and enterprise systems across a client portfolio spanning BFSI/Insurance. You will own end-to-end security architecture aligned with OpenAI Daybreak, NIST, and Zero Trust principles, while embedding AI-native vulnerability management into the delivery model.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with CISOs, engineering leaders, architecture teams, and compliance stakeholders to define and govern enterprise security architecture.
Chair Security Architecture Review Boards (SARB) and establish secure SDLC standards.
Ensure security architectures align with applicable regulatory requirements, including DPDP, GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
Architect security controls across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including IAM, encryption, network segmentation, API security, and cloud security.
Ensure architecture decisions align with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and applicable BFSI/Insurance security and regulatory requirements.
Evaluate emerging cybersecurity threats, AI security risks, AI-native security tooling, and vendor capabilities, including the OpenAI Daybreak partner ecosystem.
Drive AI-enabled vulnerability management and security practices across the software delivery lifecycle.
Develop reusable security architecture patterns, frameworks, and reference architectures.
Provide technical thought leadership and contribute to capability development within the client's security practice.
Work closely with business, technology, risk, compliance, and security teams to translate business requirements into secure technical architectures.
Required Experience
15+ years of overall cybersecurity experience, with at least 5 years in Security Architecture, Cybersecurity Architecture, or Principal Security Engineering roles.
Strong experience in the BFSI and/or Insurance industry is required.
Demonstrated experience designing enterprise security architectures for complex, highly regulated environments.
Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS, Azure, and/or GCP security architecture.
Experience with IAM, encryption, network security/segmentation, API security, application security, and Zero Trust architecture.
Strong understanding of NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and security governance.
Experience working with CISOs, engineering teams, compliance, risk, and regulatory stakeholders.
Experience with AI/GenAI security, LLM security, AI platforms, AI governance, or AI-native cybersecurity is highly desirable.
Experience with penetration testing, SOC operations, red-team engagements, or vulnerability management is a strong advantage.
Strong communication, architecture documentation, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
Preferred Certifications
One or more of:
CISSP/CISM/SABSA/TOGAF – Security
AWS Security Specialty
Azure Security Engineer/Security Specialty
Additional certifications such as OSCP, GREM, or CCSP are valued.
