This full-time position operates weekdays only, offering strong work-life balance in a scenic, affordable location.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer radiation treatments following physician direction and safety protocols
- Perform simulations and assist with dosimetry planning
- Fabricate and manage treatment blocks and immobilization devices
- Coordinate daily treatment schedules and equipment assignments
- Operate radiation equipment safely and effectively under the supervision of the Radiation Oncologist
- Collaborate with nursing, reception, and physicians to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain and update departmental procedure manuals as needed
Qualifications:
- Completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiation Therapy program required
- Current Massachusetts Radiology License required
- ARRT(T) certification in Radiation Therapy required
- Current CPR certification required
- Must have clinical experience through a formal program and the ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Attendance at all mandatory education and training is required
