NICU Clinical Manager, Los Angeles, CA (IK)
Position Summary
The NICU Clinical Manager provides day-to-day operational leadership and ensures the highest standards of patient care, staff engagement, and safety within the NICU and related perinatal services.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily NICU operations, staffing, and clinical performance.

Build and maintain a culture of teamwork, transparency, and accountability.

Collaborate with nursing leadership, physicians, and hospital administration to enhance patient care and service delivery.

Implement and evaluate policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.

Manage budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocation to meet departmental goals.

Lead training, mentoring, and staff development programs to promote professional growth.

Ensure regulatory compliance and survey readiness at all times.

Partner with HR on recruitment, retention, and diversity initiatives.
Qualifications

Current California RN license required.

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.

Minimum 3–5 years of NICU and/or Postpartum clinical experience.

Minimum 5 years of experience managing multidisciplinary clinical teams.

Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.

Ability to work effectively in a union environment.

Los Angeles County Fire Card and ARC certification required within 30 days of hire.
