  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering with 5-7 years relevant experience
  • Experience in product development from concept to production
  • Knowledge of high-speed signal integrity concepts and practices
  • Experience with EMC design techniques and solving EMC non-compliance issues
  • Proficient with lab equipment and capturing complex measurements
  • Experience with high performance processors and embedded platforms
  • Competent with Cadence tools: OrCad/Concept, Allegro
  • Knowledge of PCB Stackup’s, and understanding of materials
  • Experience with switching power supply design
  • Strong de-bug skills and analytical problem solving 
  • Ability to excel in a fast paced dynamic environment
  • Networking experience is a strong plus
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills and ability to work in small teams is required

This position is based in Austin, TX. Are you within driving distance or willing to relocate to Austin?
Do you have 5–7+ years of experience in hardware product development from concept and architecture through production release?
Do you have experience designing complex hardware systems involving high speed networking, compute, FPGAs, or networking platforms?
Are you proficient in authoring schematics and managing PCB layout using Cadence OrCad/Concept and Allegro, including defining PCB stackups and materials?
Do you have hands on experience with high speed signal integrity, EMC design techniques, and resolving EMC or SI non compliance issues, including lab based debug and complex measurements?
Do you have experience with switching power supply design, high performance processors or embedded platforms, and working closely with RTL, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams on sustaining and yield improvement efforts?
