The Copado CI/CD DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing automated Salesforce deployment pipelines using the Copado DevOps platform. The role focuses on enabling continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), version control, release management, and environment management to accelerate Salesforce application development while maintaining quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage Copado CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce projects.
- Integrate Salesforce environments with Git repositories.
- Automate deployments, testing, and release processes across development, QA, UAT, and production environments.
- Implement branching strategies, version control, and release governance.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues and ensure application stability.
- Collaborate with Salesforce developers, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
- Monitor pipeline performance and drive DevOps best practices.
- Support automated testing tools and quality gates within the CI/CD process.
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and change management requirements.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Copado DevOps, Salesforce
- Strong knowledge of Git, CI/CD methodologies, and release management.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery models.
- Understanding of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar.
- Knowledge of Salesforce metadata, Apex, Lightning Components, and deployment processes.
- Strong troubleshooting, automation, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce Administrator or Platform Developer certification.
- Copado Fundamentals or Copado Administrator certification.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Provar, Selenium, or Copado Robotic Testing.
Total Experience: 3–8+ years in Salesforce development, DevOps, or release engineering with hands-on experience implementing Salesforce CI/CD pipelines.
