Required Skills
  • Lead Oracle database projects, attend meetings, provide guidance for Oracle databases
  • Team leadership experience in previous positions
  • Work with DBA Manager to prioritize projects and assignments
  • Standard production DBA responsibilities such as:
    • 8+ years of production Oracle DBA experience o Excellent communicator and ability to work with minimal supervision o Backups/Restores/RMAN
    • Data Pump Import/Export
    • Normal maintenance
    • On-call responsibilities; flexible hours
    • Run time performance enhancement o DataGuard experience
    • Oracle RAC build and maintenance capability
    • Familiar with Oracle versions 11 and 12
  • Knowledge and experience with Golden Gate preferred
  • Experience with creating, maintaining, and tuning very large databases
  • Handle production and non-production deployments
  • Complete user requests of data movement, restores to non-production environments, deployments, query reviews, and other questions
  • Good understanding of Linux and Windows
