Job Description: Service Delivery Manager Data Center and Cloud Operations

We are looking for a technically competent individual with 15+ years of experience in IT. An individual who has a strong background in IT Infrastructure (Servers, Storage, Network, Platforms, Cloud Computing etc).
Experience in IT Security Operations, Compliance is a big plus.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for people management with specific reference to managing the growth and development of the people working in the team.
  • Own and drive people management processes including career planning, training and certification, rewards and recognition and employee engagement.
  • Work closely with resourcing team to manage the resource fulfillment process needed to run the delivery operation well and to avoid revenue loss.
  • Responsible for performance, cost, scope, schedule, quality, and appropriate business measurements for a vertical.
  • Ensure that systems, processes and methodologies as specified are followed to ensure effective monitoring, control and support of service delivery.
  • Provide leadership to the team delivering the services so as to maintain high staff morale.
  • Responsible for productivity, profitability, work environment, safety and operational compliance which willbe measured through various reporting methods.
  • Ensures the execution of customer service standards and customer satisfaction programs and equitable resolution of customer complaints.
  • Provides procedural guidance to ensure field support & service desk associates to comply with policies and procedures, safety, and ordinances. Also comply with company policies and procedures as outlined in the Human Resources and Operations Manuals and ensures training completions are maintained.
  • Focus on customer needs and drive the field support & service desk team performance with the highest degree of integrity and trust. Must be approachable by both customers and team members.
Must Haves:
  • Knowledge of automation tools and framework is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to concepts like DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering etc., is a big plus.
  • Understand the latest trends in remote infrastructure management, cloud, IT service management.
  • Solid understanding of at least one Public Cloud offering (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud etc).
  • Proven experience and expertise in IT Service Management, Managing IT operations for Global Customers
  • Relevant and proven record of accomplishment in technical, highly innovative environments.
  • Stakeholder management skills coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Should have prior experience in service management and proficient in ITIL based delivery.
  • Functional financial knowledge. Have owned and managed budgets up-to 5M Euros.
  • Cloud Certifications (ex: AWS, Azure) Highly Preferred
  • Preferably certified in Project Management/PMI/ITIL foundation (Must be ITIL trained and or certified)
  • Must have knowledge of technical terminology used for the business processes.
  • Must have good communication skills, (active listening skills)
  • Must be customer-focused
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • Ability to understand the business objectives
  • Must have sufficient writing skills (English), have sufficient phone techniques (English)
  • Able to influence suppliers and stake holders to achieve the best solution for the customer
  • Able to manage complex workloads, meet deadlines
  • Team-oriented, Customer-focused, highly motivated and able to work in a pressurized environment
