Day to Day job Duties:

This is a Technical Lead client facing position. ·
This is a versatile role providing technical leadership, process assessment, and development in the Endpoint Management (Desktop Management) service streams for Client.
The Technical Lead role is asked to contribute to the estate of knowledge and process development for delivering Symantec End Point Management Services ·
The Lead Technical Analyst must be capable of filling in or providing guidance to any member of the team he/she leads.
Candidates must have strong organizational skills along with being process driven and conversely, must drive process development and adherence.
Basic Qualifications:
(what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each) ·
8+ years of information security and network administration experience. ·
Experience functioning as Technical Lead on large enterprise projects; including working on a cross-functional team in an outsourced environment, managing resources, priorities, and schedules. ·
In depth understanding of project management and SDLC methodologies; to include development and review of key project documentation such as Requirements, Test Plans, Design Documents, Project Plans, etc.
· In depth understanding and experience working in an ITIL based service management organization; adherence to change management and incident management processes. ·
Technical experience with Symantec Security controls; Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP), Data Center Security (DCS), Advanced Threat Protection (ATP), Endpoint Discovery & Response (EDR), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Data Loss Protection (DLP), and Bluecoat/Symantec Secure Web Gateway & Web Security Service (WSS). ·
Effective communication and presentation skills; ability to adjust to technical and non-technical audience.
Travel: Position can be remote but travel to o client site in Richmond, Virginia. 100% initially for first few weeks then up to 25% ongoing. Degree: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience Nice to Have; (But not a must) ·
Familiarity with network security of IaaS/PaaS environments such as AWS and Azure. · Ability to provide operational support to technologies noted above.
