WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
 
·         Support key business units and teams around the globe with their sourcing activities and negotiations.
·         Provide regular status updates on sourcing projects undertaken by you.
·         Report on key metrics and successes on a regular basis to stakeholders and management.
·         Use eRFP tools to source telecom related products and services.
·         Be willing to work and communicate across various time zones across the world to get things done.
·         Be ready to negotiate with vendor partners around the world over email, calls and video conferences.
·         Provide actionable sourcing strategies from the projects you work on which would include outlining scenarios, benefits, risks, and change management impact of each of those options.
·         Support the execution of the technology strategic sourcing process, including supply market analysis, supplier identification and outreach, RFI/P development and execution, online bidding, supplier response analysis and negotiation
·         Collaborate with and champion operational excellence and process improvement initiatives.
·         Ensure business objectives are being met or exceeded, and strategic sourcing processes and systems are in compliance.
·         Develop strong working relationships with Engineering, Product, Autonomous Technology Group, Strategic Finance, Legal, Procure-to-Pay and Accounts Payable team
·         Manage, coordinate, and support special projects as needed
 
Here are the kinds of skills we're looking for:
·         Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications Engineering or any other related engineering field.  
·         5+ years of engineering or business experience in a tech or telecom service provider environment preferred.
·         Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
·         Basic understanding of telecom 
·         Proven experience in negotiating costs and developing cost models
·         Ability to think strategically and operate tactically
·         Ability to drive change and improve end-to-end processes
·         Ability to flourish in an environment of fast growth and ambiguity
