Note from the hiring manager: I need to over stress strong fluency and adaptability with computers and new software as a critical component. They will be primarily working with ALTO, Adobe Acrobat (or comparable PDF editor). ALTO is a homegrown logistics software. Heavy AP procedures and tech savvy.


Scheduling Center Clerk

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Utilize ALTO to confirm trips from the field
- Process Carrier Invoices
- Confirm Common Carrier Shifts in ALTO
- Provides administrative support for Logistics Manager / Director
- Processes daily paperwork and reports as required
- Handling and Tracking of Payables through the purchasing system
- Completes special projects as assigned
- Works safely and complies with company safety standards
- Report any issue that impacts of may impact safety, the environment, regulatory compliance or customer satisfaction to the Logistics Manager (or designee) or directly into the SmartSolve system.

Accountabilities:
Safety
- Follow without exception Client's standard operating procedures
- Operate in a safe manner and in accordance with Client's safety policies and procedures
- Maintain compliance with FDA, DOT, OSHA, EPA and any other regulatory agency
- Attend monthly plant safety meetings
- Uses Client required PPE
- Use equipment per design recommendations

Other:
- Ensures confidentiality and uses discretion in work-related matters
- Maintains a high degree of professionalism in all activities
- Adheres to the Company's Code of Conduct and Statement of Ethics
- Knowledge of organizational structure
- Complete all training requirements

Requirements:
- High School graduate minimum
- Experience in handling multiple tasks
- Strong fluency and adaptability to Computer software (i.e. OracleR12, ALTO, Google Suite)
- Experience with OSHA, FDA, DOT and EPA regulations and state and local requirements (where applicable)
- Prefer knowledge of Client Supply Network
- Strong clerical and organizational skills with working knowledge of PC, Microsoft Office package, etc. and the Internet, as required
- Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical aptitude to comply with site-specific safety rules
- Bachelors preferred
