Job Description:
We are looking for a Sr. System Engineer engineer with an overall 8-10 years of experience but having a minimum experience as specified in the "Must have” attributes in specified areas below. This position is located in San Francisco, CA. This person will play a key service delivery and support role for Client operations, including supporting and maintaining Client r data center infrastructure, servers, and networks, and directly supporting Client customers. This person may have to work on an alternate week schedule (10 hours/day and 4 days/week) and will be on-call on an as-needed basis, which in some circumstances may require off-hours visits to the data center.

Must Have attributes:
  • 3+ years of experience working in customer facing datacenter operations with SLA above 99.9%
  • 5+ years of experience working on networking technologies on Cisco / Nexus platform
  • 3+ years of experience working on networking technologies on Juniper routing & SRX platform
  • 3+ years of experience working on networking technologies on F5 LB platform
  • Well experienced & hands on experience configuration & management/support of STP, OSPF, BGP
  • 3+ years of experience with SNMP, TACACS+, SYSLOG and network monitoring tools
  • 3+ years of experience in 24x7 operations with 10min of Response Time SLA

Nice to have attributes:
  • 1+ years of experience working on networking technologies on Citrix LB platform
  • 2+ years of experience working on networking technologies on Palo Alto Network FW & technology
  • 2+ years of experience with System/virtualization
  • 2+ years of experience with AWS/Azure VPC management
  • 2+ years of experience with DNS, LDAP
  • 2+ years of experience with GSLB

Qualifications include:
  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
  • Excellent verbal and written and inter personal communication skills
  • Good troubleshooting skills and ability to identify and resolve problems quickly
  • Willingness to learn in a fast paced environment, self-motivated and attention to detail
  • Experience providing direct customer support
  • Detail-oriented and ability to meet deadlines, Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to use judgment to make good decisions
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
