Position Role/Tile: BSA

IRMA Integration team is responsible for maintaining & enhancing multiple operationally critical applications within the supply chain space that are used daily by WFM stores. The main responsibility of the BSA role is to help the team maintain existing legacy applications for the purposes of handling production support (50%), active maintenance enhancements (30%), and new feature development (20%).
  1. Become expert on multiple legacy applications maintained by the team (understand business processes, application behavior, business operation priorities and criticality)
  2. Along with team, run daily stand-ups, manage & prioritize work within a Scrumban development environment
  3. Drive delivery of projects within assigned deadlines working with Developers, Testers, and technical partner teams
  4. Prioritize production issues for triage/trouble-shooting by self and/or team
  5. Plan, execute and manage testing (Functional, Regression, Integration, UAT) efforts across multiple projects with different actors.
  6. Interact with multiple in-house business partners and technical teams to interview and gather requirements for new enhancements
  7. Define functional requirements for small to medium projects. Assess business/operational scenarios, review upstream/downstream flows, impacts, possible problem situations & risks.
  8. Prepare communications for multiple audiences for system enhancements and/or alternatives.
  9. Work independently to interview SMEs and Business Partners and internal technical teams.
  10. Evaluate evolving business requirements and recommend appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current enterprise systems
  1. Need-to-have:
    • Hands-on experience in working with Teams following an Agile development methodology. Good understanding of Agile best practices, driving day-to-day tasking & development, promoting team engagement & transparency, producing burn-down reporting, and hands-on experience in conducting & leading ceremonies such as regular retrospectives. (at least 3 years)
    • Business Requirements and User Story gathering (at least 4 years)
    • Technical/Business writing: Communicate technical information to non-technical audience & vice versa. (at least 5 years)
    • Able to create and publish timelines to track milestones (at least 3 years)
    • Experience in Quality Control, such as: (at least 3 years)
      1. Test planning for a deployment; collecting scenarios
      2. Test case creation & Test data creation
      3. Testing execution - Paying attention to before&after data scenarios, able to manipulate & move backend files for data testing, documenting test results, sharing regular testing status updates with team.
    • Able to interact with business partners and manage competing business priorities. (at least 4 years)
  2. Nice-to-have:
    • UML/Visio diagraming skills for rendering use case scenarios/understanding designs etc. (3 years preferred)
    • Knowledge of quality assurance checkpoints and process (4 years preferred)
    • Appreciation & understanding of the technical components of applications such as database, tables, web services, LINUX/UNIX, FTP/SFTP (Finding & manipulating text files, etc. for testing & support) (3 years preferred)
