Responsibilities:

The Support Engineer's (level C-E) main responsibilities are to manage and follow operative procedures (maintenance, security, backup,) for servers under administration responsibility.
The main tasks will consist in the installation and administration of projects servers assuring that all established operation procedure are follow and done

Key Responsibilities:
  • Know, understand and follow global and local server administration procedures and global sever security policies.
  • Act as first point of contact for projects to identify project requirements to establish server HW requirements, request offers to procurement services.
  • Server hardware and software Installation and configuration
  • Server maintenance and upgrades
  • Manage server access rights and users.
  • Manage and perform backup operations.
  • Manage and perform restore operations
  • Identification, prioritization, resolution/fulfillment of server administrator incidents.
